UDCT/ICT M.Pharm Admission Details!

UDCT/ICT Admission.

The Name of College is now ICT since it has attained the DEEMED Status!
Location: Matunga, Mumbai.

There are TWO Courses basically:
1) M.Pharm
2) BPT (Bio Process technology)

1) M.Pharm: Following subjects are there,
a) DDT (Drug development Technology) Which is equivalent to Pharmaceutics
b) Medicinal Chemistry
c) Medicinal Natural products (MNP) (There are two sub parts in it) i.e
-Pharmacology
-Pharmacognosy

MNP Pharmacology syllabus is Same as that of Normal pharmacology, only diff is that you have to do your Thesis on Herbal drugs. (Note; 80% of People of plain pharmacology do their thesis on HERBAL DRUGS!!!!!) So no worries...


Admission Process:
1) M.pharm: Admission basis on G-pat score + ICT internal exam score + Interview.
Seat Distribution: For OMS(Outside Mah state) and MS (Maharashtra state)
2010-11 Batch total seats : 30

2) BPT: Entrance exam of 100 Marks (G-Pat syllabus + Additional topics to be studied, check their web for more details), 1 mark positive and 1 mark Negative (Pattern may vary every year)
2010-11 Batch total seats: 30.
Forms:

There is only ONE Form for both M.Pharm and BPT.
Cost: 1000Rs for Open category (No idea about SC/ST/OBC)
